E-learning is unfortunately a rather confusing term since it has almost as many definitions as interpreters. Still it is the most widely used term for describing, mainly, distance education delivered over the Internet or through CDs. Having said that I welcome you to the world of distance education which I feel is a more appropriate term and also my main field of expertise since 10 years.
